December Pose of the Month: Snowflake Pose!

Snowflake Pose or Star pose - From mountain pose, jump or step hands and feet apart. With younger children you can sing "Little Snowflake" (see lyrics below) or “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Children can rock side to side on each foot or twirl around and land on the ground, even spreading the arms and legs and coming into a resting pose on the back.
Pose Benefits: Brings joy and coordination and balance.
Enjoy this simple fun coloring page download below. Extension activity options could include cutting it out and gluing it to construction paper, adding glitter, or punching a hole, tying a string to it and making an ornament out of it!
